Blockchain Firm Kadena Launches $100M Grant Fund for Builders


Blockchain firm Kadena is launching a $100 million grant fund to support projects being built on the chain.

Kadena Eco, the protocol’s growth initiative will support developers and entrepreneurs building NFTs, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and decentralized finance (DeFi).

“We care about the best builders building on Kadena. A lot of them are transitioning into Web 3, and they will help define these use cases,” said Chief Investment and Innovation Officer Paul Hsu.

CEO of Kadena Eco Francesco Melpignano stated the grant capital will be doled out to idea-stage projects with “no-string-attached.”

“It’s Kadena’s way to pay it forward to our community and blockchain builders moving the needle in the space,” said francesco melpignano.

This recent blockchain ecosystem grant program continues a trend by similar crypto projects.

Earlier this year, The Graph launched a $205 million ecosystem fund, as well as, Secret, a privacy-focused protocol, announced their own $225 million fund.
