Falcon LLM has been developed by the AI and Digital Science Research Center’s AI Cross-Center Unit, the team behind building Noor, the world’s largest Arabic language model.

Falcon LLM has been trained on one trillion tokens and uses only 75 percent of the training compute of GPT-3, 40 percent of Chinchilla’s, and 80 percent of PaLM-62B’s. Despite using less computing power than its predecessors, Falcon LLM outperforms GPT-3, making it one of the most efficient and effective language models available today.
