A prominent cryptocurrency analyst has shared an ambitious price projection for Bitcoin ($BTC), the leading digital currency, indicating the potential for a substantial surge of more than 130%, propelling it to the $70,000 milestone by year-end.

Disseminated to a substantial audience of over 340,000 adherents on the microblogging platform, X (previously known as Twitter), the pseudonymous analyst, recognized as CredibleCrypto, unequivocally anticipates Bitcoin’s ascendance beyond the $70,000 threshold within the current year.

CredibleCrypto, however, underscores the potential for notable fluctuations in the cryptocurrency’s value preceding the realization of his optimistic valuation. Having noted Bitcoin’s resolute stabilization around the $29,000 benchmark, he advances the notion that this level may have constituted the nadir of BTC’s valuation. Furthermore, he observes, “that being said, this ascent thus far appears to be corrective in nature, and an acute rejection is evidenced across shorter time intervals. Consequently, one should not be taken aback should a period of consolidation ensue before the forthcoming substantial surge comes to fruition.”

Emphasizing a broader perspective, CredibleCrypto enjoins investors against succumbing to bearish sentiment should the cryptocurrency undergo a downturn. He posits that any valuation exceeding the $25,000 juncture merits appreciation and characterizes it as an invaluable “endowment.”

The landmark of nearly $70,000 was achieved by Bitcoin in November of 2021. Bolstered by this precedent, CredibleCrypto extrapolates that upon surpassing this pivotal threshold, the cryptocurrency shall encounter resistance as it aims to eclipse the $100,000 apogee.

In consonance with his estimation, the attainment of a six-figure valuation shall materialize “several months subsequent to the obliteration of the previous zenith.” Ergo, should the prediction of a $70,000 valuation within the present year transpire, the anticipation for breaching the $100,000 frontier crystallizes either within this year or in the early stages of the ensuing year.

In analogous fashion, other analysts have similarly espoused bullish prognostications. Investor Preston Pysh recently articulated the prognosis that Bitcoin is poised to realize an annual appreciation of 100% when contrasted with conventional fiat currencies, including the U.S. dollar.

Prominent data originating from the on-chain analytics enterprise Santiment discernibly reveals the accretion of a relatively modest cohort of Bitcoin addresses amassing a substantial proportion of the digital asset’s extant circulating inventory. A cumulative tally of 15,870 addresses, each entailing ownership of over 100 units of Bitcoin, collectively commands a volume of 11.5 million coins.
