Bitcoin has surpassed one million daily active addresses on the blockchain, the first time since November 27, 2017, according to CoinMetrics.io.

The daily active addresses metric shows actual, unique transactions separate from the transfers to and from big exchanges.
On June 16, bitcoin hit 13-month highs, rising above $9,323, according to CoinMarketCap.com.
Bitcoin has increased more than 20 percent this week.
