“Blockchain distributed ledgers provide the capability of openly traceable transactions while maintaining the privacy of each person performing the transactions,” the bill states.
Last year, the cyber threat to the Colorado government included six to eight million attempts per day.
Many times, identity thieves and hackers attempt to steal personal information or corporate records.
The bill also stated Colorado still requires its residents to visit state agencies in person to modify any information, which will be solved by implementing a blockchain system.
