Is Net Neutrality the Death of Bitcoin? (OPINION)

The following is an opinion piece written and sponsored by Taffy’s Do Nothing Club, a consulting group for a free and equal society.

We have all heard the news about the pending vote to turn the internet back and allow cable companies to control what we see and do online, which could mean a wild end of the year for cryptocurrencies.

The choice has already been made and the government has a plan to tackle many issues seen over the lack of income (thanks to net neutrality) with the new plan.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will have the power to choose what we all see and where we get our data.

This means if you don’t pay for bandwidth, you may be placed with countless other slow stream data connections.

So, what can we do? We must complete this list daily.

  1. Go to and fill out your local data and hit call. From there, they will transfer your call to a local representative who has a voice in the proceedings.
  2. Spend 30 minutes to an hour to research life without internet. Do not give them any more of your trading time.
  3. Move your data to hard storage and remember BELIVE IN THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE!

Don’t spend your day worrying about the fate of the net.

Instead do research and google like you have never googled before because one day, all that information could be locked away and a thing of the past.

That’s why we must believe in the power of cryptocurrency!

With the use of blockchain technology, we can use free internet to transfer, peer-to-peer, data and make transactions in the decentralized economy.

If we allow ISPs the control they are currently lobbying for, cryptocurrency transactions could be throttled, likely effecting the imminent evolution of the technology.

I would like to invite all members of the cryptocurrency community to stand behind the free and open internet as we move forward to the decentralized economy.
