Satoshi’s Treasure, a new bitcoin-based reality game, has fragmented the keys to $1 million worth of bitcoin across the globe.

The keys to the mysterious bitcoin wallet have been divided into 1,000 fragments, requiring a minimum of 400 key fragments to move the funds.

The challenge was set up by an anonymous user who broadcasted the message to the Blockstream Satellite on April 13, stating the contest will “test the resolve, courage, intelligence, and savvy of would-be hunters.”

“This message should reach you at the middle of the fourth month of your calendar year, in the year 2019,” the message read.

“If you are reading this, something has led you to search for things which bring excitement to an otherwise predictable world.”

The anonymous poster will provide clues to the rewards on, but has already released three clues to the reward that will be revealed in the coming days.

“What you are reading is the first clue in a grand Hunt,” the message states.

“It is not the first Hunt, nor of course will it be the last one, but the hunt is MINE, and so it is to me that you must prove yourself.”

The first three keys will be revealed on April 16, April 17 and April 18, 2019, at three provided geographic coordinates at noon in their respective time zones.
